Board book: 12 pages

Publisher (Year): Priddy Bicknell (May 17, 2002)

My big animal book is a great book for the purpose of language development amongst preschoolers. The animals in the book are sorted out into groups including pets, birds, at the zoo, farm animals and baby animals. It is a great way of playing pointing games for children that helps them identify animals. The photos are clear and beautiful, and every picture is placed nicely against a background so that it stands out well enough. Unlike many other books, this book does not have any animal collage to confuse the children. Therefore, the idea of keeping it simple is very appealing and helpful for the teacher and child.
